The Saginaw Bay Youth Orchestra provides
the highest level of musical experience
and education to talented young
musicians in Saginaw, Bay City,
Frankenmuth, Midland and the surrounding
areas.
Involvement
in the
Saginaw Bay Youth Orchestra will:

advance and inspire
the development of enthusiastic
young musicians by providing
intensive training and unparalleled
performance opportunities.

professional and supportive
environment in which students will
achieve the highest level of
artistic advancement and personal
growth.

amaze, entertain, and
educate diverse audiences with
thoughtful, innovative programming.
A committee
of talented local musicians and music
teachers have come together to provide
instruction, encouragement and
inspiration to the young musicians.
Students will receive 8 weeks of
intensive training after which the Youth
Orchestra will perform two concerts in
and around the Tri-Cities.
Rehearsals are held on Sunday
afternoons, beginning January 25th,
from 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. at the
Temple Theatre, 201 N. Washington Ave.
in Saginaw. Each Sunday
the students will be part of sectional
rehearsals and full orchestra
rehearsals. A break will be given about
half-way through the afternoon.
