New Program for the Summer Season

GET TO KNOW THE SBSO

The Saginaw Bay Symphony Orchestra is proud to announce our new program for the summer season, Get to Know the SBSO. While we are unsure as to when we can come together the SBSO musicians and staff are excited to keep the music playing. Beginning June 15 through August 28, 2020, every other Monday, Tuesday, and Friday, we will be reaching out with a variety of virtual programming. Get to Know the SBSO will be streamed live on scheduled dates at 4:00 PM on Facebook and also archived on our website as well for your convenience. MEET UP MONDAYS

The SBSO’s Personnel Agent, Gregg Powell, will interview SBSO Orchestra members

TUESDAY      TUNES

June 16, 30, July 14, 21, August 11, and 25th

Will feature our SBSO Librarian, Don Belcher, who will take you on an 85-year journey through the SBSO and its Maestros and musical history.

FAMILY            FRIDAYS

June 19, July 3, 17, 24, August 14, and 28th

Board Members and Maestro will share stories with a musical theme for children to enjoy. Our Saginaw Bay Youth Orchestra (SBYO) Administrator, Ruth Ann Robinson has arranged SBYO families to talk about the SBYO, share practice videos, and short performances from our SBYO musicians as well as awesome practice activities you can do at home by our amazing SBYO specialists.
